Joining the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Winter in Plymouth, & More!

Hi everyone, I hope the holidays were awesome. It’s that time of the year in Plymouth, Cape Cod, and the South Shore where we start getting into the brutal stretches of winter. I’m talking about split pipes, failed heating systems, boiler breakdowns, and more! Make sure you’re getting ahead of the game by making sure your boiler is functioning perfectly. The last thing you want to do deal with in the dead of winter, especially after that last blizzard, is the loss of heat in your home. In one home in Harwich, we had to chase down over 18 split pipes through three apartments. Believe me, it was not a pleasant experience for anyone!

There will be some sweeping changes coming to the Mass Save Program so if you intend on replacing your boiler and getting a great rebate of up to $3150, make sure you get the process started as soon as possible! One of the most interesting portions of finishing my MBA was doing a deep-dive on Massachusetts energy policy. Things are changing at home, so be sure to get ahead of the curve!

Lastly, we’ve been able to accomplish some tremendous things this year already. I’ll be appointed to a two year term on the Board of Directors for the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce at the end of this month. I also received my actual MBA from UMass Boston and am in the process of getting it framed! We’re so excited to assist the Chamber as it continues to grow and have a major impact on Plymouth, Carver, Duxbury, and Kingston.
